Jackie Larkin

Jackie is an educator who offers her wisdom (heart and mind) and her skills in the service of creating a socially just, peaceful and environmentally sustainable world.

For decades, she has been active in promoting women’s equality; supporting the right of working people to fair and safe working conditions; and participates in environmental organizations as a voting member of Greenpeace and a Board member of Sierra Club BC. She is an active supporter of Leadnow and Dogwood.

She fell in love with the earth (again) when she reached middle age and is committed to supporting humans to grow their ecological selves and to take action on behalf of the all life. In addition to co-leading “Reconnecting to Life/The Work That Reconnects” she participates in environmental organizations, including Toxic Free Canada and Greenpeace.

In addition to facilitating Reconnecting to Life/The Work That Reconnects retreats since 2000, Jackie Larkin offers a wide range of education and consultation services.

For a number of years she was Education Coordinator for the BC Nurses’ Union. Since 2006 she has worked as a consultant with community and environmental groups, Health Authorities and unions — designing and delivering workshops with a focus on leadership development, facilitation skills and strategic planning. She is a faculty member with the Inner Activist, a residential program which helps activists and change makers to create a self-aware, balanced and inspired leadership practice. http://www.inneractivist.com/our_courses.
